Quick and Easy Potato Salad With Mayonaise


Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds potatoes, cooked, peeled, and cubed
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 to 2 tsp onion salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Preparation:

Potato Salad Recipe Directions: In a large bowl, combine potatoes, green pepper, and onion. Blend remaining ingredients; add to vegetables. Mix well to combine flavors. Cover and refrigerate. Chill potato salad thoroughly before serving.

Fluffy Vegan Pancake - by fwegan (CHOW)


I just found out a magnificent recipe that really healthy from CHOW and for no one ever suspects they are egg and dairy free :)



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 cup rice milk

  • 1/3 cup melted vegan margarine or canola oil, plus more for the pan

  • optional: handful of blueberries, chocolate chips, or whatever your heart desires




INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add rice milk, margarine or oil, and mix just enough to incorporate. Stir in optional additions.
  3. Cook up some pancakes! (Medium-high flame + cast iron skillet/griddle + little bit of cooking fat + scant ¼ cup batter. Flip when sides look dry.
